Inlander Best of NW: Best Cannabis Brand, again.

Spokane-region readers picked Phat Panda for Best Cannabis Brand in The Inlander's 2024 Best of the Inland Northwest awards — the second consecutive year. Reader-voted, which means it's not a panel or an industry-insider call. It's the people who actually buy the product.

To the budtenders who recommend us, the retailers who stock the deep cut SKUs, and every customer who voted: thank you. Spokane has been home base since 2014, and the hometown win means more than the trade-press recognition. You built this with us.

What it actually rewards

Reader-voted "Best Of" awards have a useful filter on them — you can't buy your way in. They reward the things customers actually notice over the course of a year: does the flower stay fresh?, do the carts work?, is the eighth I bought last Tuesday the same eighth I bought three months ago?, does the budtender mention you when I ask what's good?

It's also a useful pressure check on us. A second consecutive win means we kept the bar where it was; if we slip, you'll let us know on the ballot.

Hometown awards are the hardest ones to win twice. You can fool a panel once. You can't fool the people who live here.

What's next

We have a few new strains rolling out for fall, a Snickle Fritz refresh that drops in October, and the long-promised Cake House holiday line landing in late November. Three states, twelve brands, the same family.

If you live in Spokane and want to grab some, the retailer locator has every store that carries us in town. Read the original feature at inlander.com.
